In our efforts to revitalize our campaign for clean waters, Florida Bay Forever is thrilled to welcome Dr. Raechel Littman, who will spearhead educational and outreach programs at the Green Turtle Hammock Preserve. Dr. Littman is a marine biology and environmental policy professor at the College of the Florida Keys. She earned her PhD at James Cook University, Queensland Australia in tropical marine biology, her Masters in environmental policy at George Washington University, Washington DC, and her Bachelors in biotechnology at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, in Massachusetts.
As a scientist, Raechel Littman has been drawn toward work in restoration ecology, wildlife rehabilitation, environmental policy and marine conservation. As an artist, she enjoys sharing a creative environment with her community and expressing the beauty of nature. With Dr. Littman’s expertise, Florida Bay Forever will expand the Eco-Center by providing a repertoire of naturalist experiences and biological education programs.
